For over 60 years, the Barbie doll has been more than just a toy. She was an influencer before the Internet even existed, but she is now accused of maintaining gender stereotypes. As Greta Gerwing's Barbie comes to the cinema, Gymnastics looks at how relevant she is for modern consumers.
Working from a script in collaboration with the production company we are era, I enjoyed animating the narrative of Barbie's evolution into a symbol of feminism.
